This stuff is bad for you on so many levels, but is beyond delicious, and quite simple to make. If you’re a health-nut, don’t worry, it’s something even I, a young man with a fantastic metabolism, would only make for certain occasions (i.e. Stanley Cup Finals).
It’s worth taking a day off your special diet just for this, trust me.

One of the best things in recent times to happen to the city of Buffalo, and perhaps the Western New York area, was the 2008 Winter Classic. 70,000+ hockey fans packed Ralph Wilson Stadium to see the Sabres and Penguins clash in weather that reached well below the freezing point... and the wind wasn't helping either. A hot shower remedied my frozen skin, this soup helped bring my core temperature back up to safe and healthy levels....

Before getting into catering, I was a bookseller (as well as cafe server) at a Barnes and Noble in Williamsville, which made access to great cookbooks and people who enjoy the finer things in life all that much easier. One of the drawbacks to working at a bookstore is that it isn't as fast-paced as working in food service, and there's a lot of downtime to day dreaming. After staring at the Godiva chocolate bars long enough one day, this recipe became the fruit of one of those dreams...
